I am glad my bloating for the week has gone away for the most part. Periods are one of the hardest parts of dieting in my opinion. Especially since I CRAVE chocolate when Aunt Flo comes to visit. (or is it Aunt Flow? oh well) I thought I would do a couple short reviews on some "diet" chocolate items that I have indulged in. I had to literally put the kid's easter candy out of my reach so i wouldnt eat any more tootsie rolls!
1. First is my review on Jello Mousse temptations. (just the regular chocolate kind). Im not sure if any of you had had one of the "Whipps" yogurts from yoplait or not, but the texture is very similar. Light and airy. I personally enjoy them. They are only 60 calories, which is excellent for a diet dessert, that doesnt taste "diet". It pretty much tastes like chocolate pudding, but with added air. LOL. They arent the cheapest, so if you want some chocolate and do not have $3.50 or whatever they were for a pack of 6, then they may not be your best choice. I try to eat it really slow and enjoy the flavor. I personally feel satisfied after eating one of these. I would reccommend them to anyone on a diet with a pms chocolate craving.
2. My second review is the "100 Calorie Packs- Oreo dipped delight bars". YUUUM! These are amazing. I feel guilty when i eat them, like REALLY guilty. They are crunchy like an oreo, they have the yummy white middle, as a real oreo does, and are dipped in CHOCOLATE! I think these are by far my favorite PMS treat when I am feeling bitchy and want to eat a gallon of ice cream. Remember the game 7 minutes in heaven? Im pretty sure thats exactly how these make me feel. Better than a candy bar, with the crunchy goodness of an oreo, and a tasty outer shell of chocolate. I think these are amazing! Again, spendy, but I eat them only on occasion, so its not that big of a deal if they last me one or 2 weeks.
3. Okay, So I had to tell you guys about the 100 calorie right bites brownies.. they look delicious on the package, like yummy little midget brownies that would melt in your mouth. HAHAHA. They look nothing like the package. In fact, they look more like a cat treat, literally. They are very thin, not a thick browine chunk like on the photo. They are about 1/4 of what they look like on the box very thin, and about twice the size of my cat's treats. And the worst part is, they do not taste like a brownie. Not a real brownie like they look on the package... they taste like a fake crappy carboard diet brownie cat treat.. don't waste your money or your 100 calories.. you could have almost 2 of the mousse temptations instead, for only 20 calories more, and be double satisfied, but onis just as good.
All in all. my favorite diet chocolate snack is the Dipped oreo delight bars. They are so so good. Almost too good. The Mousse temptations has a close spot to second, and i will never buy the 100 calorie right bites again unless they are on a really good sale, AND i have a coupon.

I'm new, don't laugh
I have always wanted to start a blog, but never knew where to start. So I guess that I'm going to just jump right in and give it a shot. Kind of like Zumba. You will never know what something is like until you try it.
I decided to try Zumba 2 days ago for the first time. I am determined to lose weight and I love music, so I figured I would give it a shot. Long story short, I had a BLAST! There were people of all ages and sizes, and a cute little old lady in her 70's told me, "If I can do it, anyone can do it." Very inspiring words sweet little lady. I'm sure I looked nothing short of a seahorse giving birth. You know what I'm talking about, the convulsing, and ridiculous thrusting.
seahorse birth.. incase you need a visual...Uhh maybe that and a monkey combined. Im not sure, all I know is that it was not pretty, but it was addicting. It is now the one place besides my kitchen, that I can dance without a care. It's kind of like the bar, minus the alcohol and creepos. ( I had very scary confidence that I am now ashamed I ever had when alcohol was involved.) I also wake up remembering everything that happened, which is always a plus. Day 1 of Zumba was a success. My main goal was to burn calories and I left in a sw
eaty mess. And I felt uh-maze-ing!
I had so much fun that I wanted to go again the next day, and I brought along my BFF. This was going to be the best day EVER! I forgot to add that the previous day of Zumba involved nearly 30 people. This day we were trying out a new place, and it was going to be GREAT... right? This place was HUGE. I read afterwards online that it holds 200+ ladies for Zumba class.. lots of skinny bitches. LOTS. I suddenly was missing my old lady friend that I had met the night before. Some chubbier than me girls joined right behind us, so I started feeling a little more confident. Okay, this isn't so bad. Then it happened. Right before class started, some skinny girls from highschool got right behind us. REALLY? Out of at least 150 people, they just HAD to be right behind us. My BFF and I could hear their laughter throughout the class. Of course we are self conscious and we just KNEW they were laughing at us. The instructor told everyone to "shake it like a flaming gay guy, with lots of hip movement." I kind of love her. She was hilarious. All in all, it was great, and I didnt suck any less than I did the previous class, but I will not let that stop me. Next time I want to be around sweet old ladies. And I swear if skinny girls from highschool decide to get behind us in Zumba, they will regret it when I decide to have chili for dinner...
